A smartphone activity I can use with students.
When I was a high school student, in my high school, use of the smartphone was prohibition. Therefore I have not done smartphone activity. When I was a freshman, I did smartphone activity by an English class for the first time. In my class, I learned the listening with a smartphone. I watched an movie with a smartphone and was work to write a movie report. If there are words or the grammars that I cannot understand, it is repeated many times until it can be understood and should hear it. In addition, the length of the time when I listened is important. If there is much time when I listened, the point rises. Only the information that I heard by oneself is a reliance. And it was an activity to understand contents, the character of the movie, the personality of the character.
This activity gave listening skill to us. There is nothing relying on anything other than oneself. Therefore there was power naturally. There was the new word that I learned from now on.
This activity lets a student acquire listening comprehension other than the class. It will be helpful to the teacher. It is limited in the time for class. In addition, it is limited that a teacher is taught during class by a student. Therefore this helps a teacher.
